ACCOMPANIST Heidi Stoika
Heidi Stoika graduated from Shepherd University in 2018 where she studied under Dr. Yu-Hsuan Liao and
received a B.A. in Piano Pedagogy. While attending Shepherd, she had the opportunity to accompany
many different groups, including Women’s Camerata, Chamber Singers, and Masterworks Chorale. She
has accompanied various groups and soloists, both instrumentalists and vocalists, as well as many school
choirs, and she is currently the accompanist at Charles Town Middle School. Heidi is the adjunct piano
instructor at Hagerstown Community College, and she has been teaching private piano lessons through
the Community Music Program at Shepherd University since 2016. Since 2018, Heidi has served as the
piano and organ accompanist for St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Martinsburg, WV. She has
performed at various concerts and recitals throughout Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania,
performing solos, duets, and accompaniment for vocalists and instrumentalists. Heidi currently resides in
Martinsburg with her husband, Anthony.
